I have looked at a few other campaign commercials with my high school government class. We talked about how candidates target each other, and some specific ads. I found these two ads to be very aggressive in going after their opponent. I am honestly not sure which commercial would be more effective, because one points out military cuts, which some people are very passionate against, and the other points out problems Nixon made while in office. Some people get very passionate against presidents if they do things the citizen doesn't like also. I think it really depends on the person viewing it.
